R.I.P. Toomer's Corner

The news that I heard today was sickening. Someone had poisoned the legendary Toomer's Corner of Auburn, AL. Why? Well supposedly the students of Auburn rolled Toomers Corner to celebrate Bear Bryants death. First of all, that was twenty-something years ago, and they didn't even destroy and personal or prized property. To do such a thing in todays society is almost disgusting. Poison the oak trees of the legenday taditional spot to celebrate victories? Thats just outragious to me. So "Al", I hope your glad you showed how stupid, disrespectful, and insecure you are to your fellow Alabama fans and everyone else. This battle is not over I'm afffraid to say. This controversy will be fueled by many more vandalism by both schools over many years before it is defused

Divided families

Divided families, when it comes to football, are like republican vs. democrat.  I, myself, am an Auburn fan along with my brother.  My mother and sister are the die-hard Alabama fans of the house. Crazily, my father really doesn’t care at all about football.  All throughout football season my sister, mom, and I are constantly debating about who’s going to win the Alabama vs. Auburn game at the end of the season.  There excuse this year was the good ol’ “well how many national championships have y’all won?”, and my reply is always the same…. IT DOESN’T MATTER!! Although these past two years have been a great coincidence, I still think that Alabama football in general (Alabama & Auburn) are the best there is. No other team can beat the SEC. All it comes down to is WAR EAGLE BABY! And roll tide for the rest of you non-champions of 2010.
